| Description |
The International H2O Collaboration in the Dominican Republic proposes providing water, sanitation and hygiene training to several bateyes and barrios in the eastern part of the country. USAID will fund and implement the water supply and sanitation provision, along with portions of the hygiene training, through Save the Children and Mujeres en Desarollo Dominicana (MUDE). Rotary will fund and implement the water quality portion through the installation of bio-sand filters, along with portions of the hygiene training. Rotary will also fund a portion of the sanitation infrastructure. This grant will directly benefit approximately 50,000 people and will indirectly benefit approximately 75,000 people. |
