Safe Water and Clean Hands for Ethiopian Kids

Install water filtration systems, drinking stations, and handwashing stations in 13 government schools in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, benefitting around 26,000 children.
Provide an expansive Hygiene Training and education program in 39 sites (the 13 schools above plus 29 schools and sites where water filtration systems have already been installed). A core group of students and teachers will be extensively trained in each site, forming a Hygiene club which will then provide Hygiene education and focus for their entire school/site, resulting in improved Hygiene practices for over 40,000, students, staff and families.
This program is implemented in partnership with the international NGO Splash, and with the cooperation of the Addis Ababa Education Bureau.
